The circus worker was certainly brave to grab Dumbo while the others tried to get Mrs. Jumbo under control but was the wrong call as it only further infuriated Mrs. Jumbo. She thought her baby was in trouble and was enraged further as the ringmaster was continually yelling and cracking his whip while the others were trying to restrain her.

After reading all the comments about Arthur and the Girl Squirrel, hear is what I think. Some of you guys are heavily bashing on the Girl Squirrel like if she is a toxic, annoying, clingy, girl, but I feel like you are forgetting that she is a 'SQUIRREL' not a 'HUMAN'. Also squirrels, are naturally hyperactive, energetic creatures, always on the move. Their playful behaviors, including chasing friends, and leaping between trees, contribute to the perception of their content and active nature and can be very affectionated, so she wasn't being clingy, she was just being her very natural self. So she thinks and acts like a squirrel, because she is a squirrel, she is unable to understand what Arthur is saying or doing, because Arthur is human. She can't understand his human body language like when he is shoving her back or when he is trying to get away from her, she thinks that he want to play with her, so how would she know that he wasn't interested in her? Arthur was turned into a squirrel, but he still has his human traits and he was speaking in his human language and the Girl Squirrel can't speak and understand human verbal and body language. So the reason for that is language barrier, so there is communication issues. Also she doesn't know that Arthur was human, she didn't see him turn into a squirrel, so how could she would have known that he was a human? All she thought was that she stumble on a male squirrel that she can choose as a mate. So actually the thing is that female squirrels actually choose their mate and the males naturally comply as its in there nature. So in a way its only natural for the Girl Squirrel, but not for Arthur because he's a human that turned into a squirrel. Some of you guys were bashing on Arthur because he was cruel and well I wouldn't say cruel, I would say annoyed and he never really mean her no harm. Arthur can't understand her either because he can't understand squrriel verbal and body lauguage. He wasn't trying to be cruel, he was trying to tell her that he was human and not a squirrel, so like before, Language barrier and also he doesn't know the natual behavior of squirrel. Aslo how he was trying to tell her that he was not a squirrel and wasn't minding that that fact that she doesn't know what he is talking about because she can't understand what he is saying. Some of you were saying that Arthur was a child and couldn't understand love. I mean I don't know what his age was in the movie, but I'm guessing that the movie takes place within the several day up until the day that Arthur pulled the sword and became king. According to Arthurian studies, Arthur was actually around 15 or 16 when he became king. I mean he is still a child, but he is old enough to be capable of experiencing romantic love, affection, and attraction. Hell, the Girl Squirrel and Arthur look like they are about around the same age range. The real thing is that Arthur didn't return the same affection is because he was a human and the Girl Squirrel is a squirrel, so it would never work. As for Arthur walking away and leaving the Girl Squirrel in her tree crying because she found out that the male squirrel she chose to be her mate was actually a human that was turned into a squirrel by magic. I mean what else can he do? There was nothing that can be done. Arthur felt bad and didn't mean to bring harm to her when he say "Oh, if you only understand." The only bad part on Arthur's side was that he didn't give her his thanks for saving his life from getting eaten from a hungry wolf, he was able to walk out of the forest alive because of her. I'm mean, like "Hey, I'm sorry that I'm actually human, and not a squirrel, but you saved my life from that wolf and I owe you my endless thanks, so here is a pair of acorns as a token of my bottomless gratitude." I mean he could of said something like that and would bring sone peace So basically there is no right or wrong in this scenario, just Language barrier, communication difficulties, and unaware of natural behaviors.

Let's be honest here, shall we? I honestly think Sykes didn't care one bit for neither Roscoe nor DeSoto. He probably just viewed them both as his minions, his henchmen. For 3 reasons: 1) After Roscoe and DeSoto attacked Dodger, he gives them both a biscuit as a reward. Pretty much like: "You've done well. Take this as payment". 2) When the gang goes to rescue Jenny from Sykes's warehouse, Roscoe and DeSoto were both caught off-guard by Georgette. When Sykes found them, he thought they were just messing around and insults them both. 3) Lastly, but more importantly: the Subway chase scene. Yeah, I know Sykes was way too busy with trying to kidnap Jenny again, but he clearly DID NOT CARE ABOUT BOTH HIS DOGS DYING. How heartless do you have to be for that to happen? Compare this with Maleficent and Ursula. They both lost their mind after seeing their "pets" dying. You see? Sykes honestly didn't care about Roscoe and DeSoto. He just kept them both around because they were useful. If they mess up, he punishes or insults them. Also, compare how he treats his dogs with how Fagin does. Fagin might not have a dime to buy food for his dogs, but he clearly cares for them. They are a family to him as much as he is to them. Their first scene together and after Fagin returns from his meeting with Sykes says it all. Oh, and let's not forget that Fagin was clearly pissed off after Dodger got injured fighting Roscoe and DeSoto. He got really angry at Sykes. Their relationship is based on love, trust, kindness...things Sykes clearly doesn't show to his own dogs. "DeSoto got scratched on the nose? Whatever." 😠😠😠😠 You know what would have been cool? If Roscoe and DeSoto saw how bad their relationship with Sykes is, got fed up with how he treats them and merely views them as a tool, helped the gang rescue Jenny and flee the warehouse, and being adopted by Jenny as her watch dogs.
